I just received an email from Damon with just a picture on it.  It's the 5 poles for the electricity - hurray.  All we need now is to do our end and dig a trench from the last pole by the lochan to the house and bury the cable to the house.  Then our electrician needs to some connections and Scottish and Southern need to come out again for final connections.  And hopefully we'll be there then.
Damon is fitting the electric boiler today and tomorrow, and if the whole house ventilation system arrives on time next week he'll be fitting that then.  We're on the home straight now.
Sally the horse is still in the field by our house.  As the owner had to go to visit family over Easter, they missed the tourists at Easter for the cart on Iona, and will be taking her over later when it becomes more busy on Iona.
We had our visitscotland inspection at Bonawe House last week, all rumbling along nicely.  We seem to be already booked up until the end of August at Bonawe House, just a few spaces left.  People appear to have booked much earlier than usual.

Mull, sailing and wildlife

Apologies for not having added anything for ages Renate broke her wrist skiing and couldn't type very fast and I managed to damage my back and have been in a lot of pain and was struggling tp get much done. However we have made good progress on Mull, although it has felt hard work. Most of the inside is finished and we just have the central heating boiler to install and the whole house ventillation system. There has been no rush for these as we still haven't got an electricity supply!!! The poles and cable were delivered over Easter so hopefully not too long now. The photos are of the finished but bare living room and downstairs childrens bunk bedroom, plus a picture from today sailing down in front of Bonawe House. Oh and an otter that decided to join us on the beach for 30 minutes this afternoon.....
